The Berg Family’s American Business Experience Begins
The Berg Family’s American business experience begins in 1910 with Samuel Berg, David Berg’s grandfather, immigrating from Eastern Europe. Armed with no financial resources, formal education, business, or political connections, his family’s survival rested solely on the success or failure of his decisions and actions. The work ethic, practicality and propensity for risk taking forged from this desperate situation are the philosophical underpinnings of today’s Berg Corporation.
